Authored by José María Alonso Alonso de Linaje and published by CentiRamo Publishing, the volume was chosen the best book of 2018 by Los Círculos San Juan for defending Catholic values. The author also was awarded the Ramiro de Maeztu Prize 2018 by the same Madrid-based organization, which has been giving the award for over twenty years. The prize is named after a Spanish Catholic author who gained prominence around the Spanish Civil War.
In its February 2019 issue, El Pan de los Pobres' book section highlighted the book with a companion article, "El peso de la soledad,' which discussed the book's subject of loneliness.
The Catholic magazine has not abandoned its Christian roots despite the financial odds being experienced by the publishing industry. It is the leading magazine in its category in Spain in terms of subscription and is popular with the older generation who have passed on their love of the magazine to their children and grandchildren.
