Machús Aguirre was born in Bilbao, Spain in the 60s. She is the third of a wonderful large family that always encouraged her to develop her artistic talent.

She studied journalism in the University of Navarre and worked for two regional newspapers first, then as correspondent of a national newspaper.

​

She began to paint with acrylic and oil after taking part in outdoor painting competitions in Pamplona, where she was selected for the final exhibition in two occasions. 

​

She loves painting portraits and landscapes in brilliant colors. She is a member of the Artistic Society of Guipúzcoa, in Saint Sebastian, Spain, where she lives at the moment.
